Getting started

  1. Open the parents area: press and hold the padlock in the top-right corner of the home screen for three seconds, then confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode.
  2. Add a child.
  3. Open that child and add jobs — either from the eighteen ready-made ones or written by you. Choose how many stars each job is worth and, if you want, a reminder time.
  4. Set up the reward chest and decide what each reward costs in stars.
  5. Hand the device to your child. Everything they need is on the home screen.

Frequently asked questions

How do I open the parents area?
Press and hold the padlock in the top-right corner of the home screen for three seconds. The app then asks for Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode. Where those are unavailable it shows a two-digit addition instead — deliberately harder than a young child can solve. Children, jobs, rewards, and the language setting all live behind that gate.
Does the app need an internet connection?
No. All ten games — nine in Maths Garden, one in Think & Play — generate their questions on the device, and jobs and stars are stored locally. It works on a plane and anywhere without a signal.
The questions are not being read aloud.
The app uses the voices installed on your device. If the chosen language has no voice installed, iOS substitutes another voice and the pronunciation sounds wrong. Add the voice in Settings ▸ Accessibility ▸ Spoken Content ▸ Voices. The language screen in the parents area warns you when a voice is missing and has a speaker button so you can hear each language before choosing.
Will I lose everything if I delete the app?
Yes. Nothing is stored on our side — there is no account and no server copy — so jobs, stars, and progress are deleted along with the app. Use your device's backup if you want to keep them.
Can my child accidentally buy something or see an advertisement?
No. There are no in-app purchases and no advertising. The only links that leave the app are the ones on this page and on the privacy policy — both reachable only from the parents area, behind Face ID — and they open in Safari rather than inside the app.
A game disappeared from the list, or shows as coming soon.
If we find a serious defect in one mini-game we can switch that game off remotely, so that nobody runs into it while we prepare a fix, rather than leaving it broken until an update is approved. It returns in a later release. Everything else keeps working normally.
How do I delete the data the app holds about my child?
Delete the child in the parents area, or delete the app. Both remove the data from your device permanently. See the privacy policy for what leaves the device at all.
Can my child play on more than one device?
Not yet. Data stays on the device where it was entered and does not sync between devices.
